We talk about the 1980s classic: Fright Night. Directed by Tom Holland, starring Roddy McDowall, Amanda Bearse, William Ragsdale and Chris Sarandon. We talk about the well-respected venom mob film, The Kid with the Golden Arm. Released in 1979 and directed by Chang Cheh it stars Lo Meng, Philip Kwok, Helen Poon, Lu Feng, Sun Chien, and many other astounding talents. It is about an escort company tasked by the government with transporting a shipment of gold to victims of famine. They must face traps and ambushes from the cunning Chi Sha gang along the way, as well as content with their own internal turmoil. A simple plot with some fun twists, and a ton of great fight scenes, this movie has something for both wuxia fans and kung fu fanatics.
